A huge congratulations to 11 of our talented students whose creative writing has been selected for publication in the Young Writers SOS Sagas: Wanted competition!
The competition challenged young authors to write a mini saga of no more than 100 words based on the theme of “Wanted”. Students were asked to create a character pursuing something important to them, whether that was revenge, freedom, fame, the truth, or a long-lost treasure. Despite the tight word limit, our students rose to the challenge with creativity, imagination and impressive storytelling skills.
Being chosen for publication is a fantastic achievement. It means that the judges recognised the originality, quality and impact of our students’ work amongst entries from young writers across the country. To have 11 students published is an outstanding accomplishment and one that reflects the talent, dedication and enthusiasm for writing within our school community.
This success celebrates not only excellent creative writing but also the confidence to take risks, develop ideas and bring characters to life in just a few words. Our published writers demonstrated that great stories do not need to be long; they simply need to capture the reader’s imagination.
Congratulations to our young authors. Your creativity has earned you a place in print, and that is something truly worth celebrating!
