Grade 4 in the range 9-17 – £21,269 – £24,920 pro rata (Actual Salary £19,753 – £23,144)

Permanent Post, Full time, term time. 37.5 hours per week (30 minutes per day unpaid lunch). 38 weeks and INSET paid as overtime.  

About the school 

We are an all boys Catholic Secondary School with 1,100 pupils (7 – 11) with a mixed Sixth Form.  We are a school moving forwards at pace, with a driving ambition to be the preeminent Catholic boys school in Liverpool with a very strong mixed Sixth Form to follow on to. We are an integral part of the local community and are very family orientated with a strong Catholic ethos.  We are seeking to appoint a reliable, organised and efficient person to join the Pastoral Team. 

Personal Qualities

Are you good at managing, supporting and motivating a large group of boys? Yes, then we have the right job for you!

Previous experience of a busy school, directly supporting and developing the pastoral needs of pupils is essential.  Good communication skills are vital as is the ability to work as part of a team and to remain calm in stressful situations. The person must be able to maintain full confidentiality. The post will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure. 

About the Role

Duties will be varied and candidates will be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children. The person appointed would be overall responsible for pastoral support in a one year group, working within a wider team of pastoral officers, supported by a Senior Pastoral Leader.
